Sael_: Experience shows that announcing a precise date for any planned event and then having to cancel it or move it last second is much worse than not specifying time-frames at all when managing community expectations. We're not vague because we don't want to share information with you, we simply can't due to the restrictions of our job. Are we going to have discounts on equipment and consumables? We didn't abolish those. But we can't tell you specifically when they're coming up, for a plethora of reasons - most commonly either because we can't reveal plans ahead of time (spoilers are bad! Surprises are good!), or because those plans are still in the making/subject to drastic change. What we can promise you is that we will keep you updated with anything we can share with you in these regards, however vague it may be.
