Is the reason for the bad, nonhistorical elevation that when the turret turns 180 degrees, it clips through the hull? O-turret designs could elevate quite high when facing forward but obviously couldn't when they had to turn their turrets around so that the rear bin collides with the top of their hull. Since WoT has no way of changing elevation levels on the fly, I'm guessing this is why. It's similar to when WG tried to nerf all of the US tanks' historical depression because there was a tiny bit of clipping on their rear, then tried to play it off as not being a nerf at all. So isn't that contradictory? It seems like they should have their historical elevation, regardless of clipping. Especially considering the gun can clip through houses and we can fire our clipped guns into one another's sides.

Overlord: I have noticed that only a few do read the previous replies. Those who do that already know the adjustments are coming.
