Please cry me a river. It's a time saver and that's it. I strongly suggest taking some economy 101 or something, so you know how stuff works. Likewise, you ARE paying to play with your friends in WoW and the likes: If your friends do not pay the monthly fee, they won't be able to play with you, will they? In WoT, it's quite easy to play with your friends, even on a non-premium account. All you have to do is start the battle at the same time (ie. count down using Skype or something). It's not guaranteed to succeed but it works at least 8/10 times and while you're not always on the same team, it can be kinda fun to play against eachother, which is currently NOT an option in random battles.
