give you the proper feedback. In general this mode is
interesting and would be fun if not for two things: In order
to get to maximum level you need to get 26800 substance/points
whatever, if you're playing alone without any platoon you gonna
average approximately 150 of them per battle, so that means you
need 178 battles, each takes 6 minutes and 30sec countdown, this
gives you 19,2h of playing non stop, and it doesn't include waiting
to enter and time wasted after each battle for this graphical
count. So you need way more than 20 hours just playing this mode to
get to level 13, and even if you're willing to sacrifice that
amount of time you gonna enjoy maximum bonuses for like 5 days.
Meanwhile if you pay money you can have it all from day one.
You basically don't get credits for playing this mode, the only
profits which you're getting as XP on the tank has to be converted
for gold to free XP if we want to have any use of that. So 20h+ of
playing this mode in 2 weeks you get almost nothing just to have
maximum bonus. It all looks like another jump for money from your
side, because the bonuses are indeed sweet and a lot of people will
gonna fall for it. Second thing which makes this whole mode
bad is the bots. I see what you're doing here, it's free testing
ground for you to try out bots which you're going to introduce on
low tiers. But the bots which are in this event are way too
overpowered. The turret traverse speed and aimbot like accuracy
just makes playing against them really frustrating. To kill the
heavy ones you need like 10 shots, and they can practically one
shot you, they spawn in pairs and start shooting at you immediately
from the spawn so there's very little time to run away. You give us
bad tank, with bad gun handling, long reload time and low
maneuverability, even if you team up with your teammates to kill 2
of them is a big challenge and it takes too much time. Even light
bots which you can kill in 3 shots are a challenge, maybe they
don't deal much damage with each shot but 3 of them are being
spawned at the same time, and their reload time + accuracy is way
too good. Best thing to do is to run away, and event that doesn't
always work out good. They also seem to be spawned more often when
you carry more points on you, but maybe I'm paranoid. Thank
you for this mode, after all it is interesting addition in the
game, but I can't stop thinking that all your focus is on finding
new ways to squeeze money out of the players. I understand, company
have running expenses, it needs to bring profit. But we feel like
that's all you care about nowadays, you don't even seem to care
anymore about the product you deliver. I don't mind paying for the
game I'm enjoying, but you fail to address our concerns, you fail
to fix bugs in game, any attempts to balance some things like maps
for instance, take months and months to be implemented. Meanwhile
every 2 weeks or so we're getting new premium tank introduced in
game. You even stopped being innovative with them, Alpine Tiger is
tank which existed in the game already, you give it new skin and
sell as new tank. Kanonenjagdpanzer also existed, you give it
different gun change some stats, and you have new tank. Now I'm
hearing about another Bulldog being tested as Chinese premium
tank... Meanwhile arty mechanics is broken, tanks are
unbalanced, maps are unbalanced, new bugs being introduced with
each update, MM is disaster and keeps getting worse. You seem to
fail to understand that if you'd deliver better product, you
wouldn't have to put so much effort to getting money out of us,
many people would be happier about paying you, and there would be
more of them too, because so many people wouldn't be leaving.
Best regards,
Kandly: Thank you for sharing your thoughts, reesku. I am terribly sorry that you guys feel like all we care
about is money. We have very passionate people working on the game,
trying their hardest to improve it, but I understand why it might
seem like that to you, because you guys are currently waiting for
more info on sensitive subjects, and then you see our offers and
announcements and you feel milked. I would like to apologize for
that, because we care about all of you equally, no matter if you
buy stuff or not. Ever since we launched WoT, we
wanted to give people the opportunity to enjoy a nice game for
free. It was never about milking anyone, just about bringing joy to
like-minded people who are into tanks. Since many of our developers
didn't speak English, we couldn't have them come and offer
explanations on the forum, like other companies do sometimes. We
were also sharing a bit more information back in the day, hyped
some people, only to realize that it's not possible to implement
said thing as announced later on, so in a way we learned that it's
not good to share something in case we're not 100% certain it
will make it in the game. Why? Well, WoT is an extremely
competitive game and we didn't want to ruffle anyone's feathers by
hyping or disappointing. Tweaking such games is always a pain in
the behind and I know that from experience, because WoT isn't the
only full-on-rage type of game I've played (damn MOBAs, they still
haunt me). I personally think we still have a lot of work to
do when it comes to transparency and I hope that, in
time, this will improve. As for what we can do here in the EU
office - well, we organize all sorts of events where we invite our
devs, to talk about their decisions and future content. We also
invite them on streams sometimes and we generally have more of a
contact with them than in the past, that's for sure. It's still not
perfect, but I think we'll get there. In the meantime, I'd like to thank you for your
feedback! I really appreciate that you care about the game and took
the time to compile your thoughts. Have a nice evening!
