Operation Gambit - Questions regarding rules and regulations

Kandly: Since some of you have shared concerns regarding this post, here are some clarifications that
will hopefully explain why the "exploit" doesn't actually work.
Our initial response was: There can be no exploit in this
case, because the system takes active bets into account when
calculating the Fame Points to be withdrawn. Here’s what
“taking active bets into account” means: 1) A bet is active while
it can be cancelled. As soon as prime-time -1 comes on the
Province, bet-winners turn into Divisions and the rest of bets are
cancelled. 2) While calculating the amount of fame points to be
removed within the 'leadership burden' mechanic, the System knows
active bets and takes them into account. For example, there was a
battle between Clans A and B: • clan A won the battle, so it shall
receive some amount of fame points of Clan B • let's assume that
Clan A has 1 000 fame points and Clans B has 101 000 fame points •
before the battle was finished, Clan B decided to hide its fame
points into auction bets in order not to give part of them to Clan
A • so Clan B made the following bets: 1. Province P1 = 50 000 fame
points, the bet is still active, it's > 2 hours till prime-time
-1 2. Province P2 = 50 000 fame points, the bet is still active,
it's > 2 hours till prime-time -1 • after that, Clan B has 1 000
fame points on its account, meaning that the battle is finished and
the System starts calculating the amount of fame points to be
removed from the Clan B’s account Fame points of Clan A = Clan
account fame points + Clan active bets = 1 000 + 0 = 1 000 Fame
points of Clan B = Clan account fame points + Clan active bets = 1
000 + 50 000 + 50 000 = 1 000 + 100 000 = 101 000 Amount to be
moved to Clan A = 5%*(101 000 - 1 000) = 5% * 100 000 = 5 000 fame
points We hope this clears things up.
