Block Quote 430u - 121 cries in the corner. Centurion AX is crying with him...
Block Quote Who asked for Fjords to be rebalanced in 1.0 patch? Who asked changes on Fisherman's bay? Now you have 3 choke points even on that open map like Fisherman's.
Block Quote Fix the E-100 line first, seriously buff the tiger 2 not buff some here and then nerf other stats like you did with the leo 1.
Block Quote bond shop?!
Block Quote Dual-gun tanks at last? Sounds awesome! Several multi-turret tanks already in the game (M3 Lee!) could be really interesting with this.
Block Quote HE rebalancing should be a good thing if it makes it more consistent. The game definitely needs some work on ammo balancing anyway, so will be interesting to see what you come up with.
Block Quote Hiding player IDs in-game is a good feature to counter the toxicity surrounding stats - although the suggested system sounds more complex than maybe necessary? But yeah, I'm sure you've thought it through
Block Quote As someone else already asked above, is there any news yet on the 6th Sense update? That's something else that would be really good to see soon.
Block Quote [...] Better start thinking about Tier XI and XII tanks and how to implement them.
Block Quote randomly cramming in new content without developing the core game further ... way to go - why put any emphasis on the tanks in a tank game when you can try to run after short-lived kiddie-trends?
Block Quote I am however disappointed in the lack of any real substance to your announcement. You have a game which potentially is timeless. It could be played in 20 years time and if I'm still alive then and it still has a solid player base I may still be playing it. May.
Block Quote Realistic gameplay? Are u sure? Realistic would be 1 penetrating shot and tank down. U dont enjoy this game for realistic gameplay. U enjoy it because it is fun and there is variety in this game. U have more than 500 tanks, more than 40 maps, more than 100 000 players playing every day.
Falathi: I can agree regarding the 121. It was introduced as a pretty
tanky MT with extra heavy alpha. In the current meta it does not
have a well defined place and it has always had some drawback which
made it a difficult tank to play. Personally, I hope this tank
would see some buff.
Block Quote Who asked for Fjords to be rebalanced in 1.0 patch? Who asked changes on Fisherman's bay? Now you have 3 choke points even on that open map like Fisherman's.
Falathi: Usually, if there are changes made to the maps they are done
after analyzing the performance of both teams, possible choke
points and gameplay. Changes are not introduced on a whim, there`s
always some analysis behind them.
Block Quote Fix the E-100 line first, seriously buff the tiger 2 not buff some here and then nerf other stats like you did with the leo 1.
Falathi: The E-100 is to be buffed and this also includes the Tiger II
but there is a possibility that it might happen along with the
rebalance of improved ammunition as these tanks ( and also IS-4,
among others ) are affected by any possible changes to ammunition.
Especially when we`re talking about general change like the one
that has already been tested on the Sandbox. I`m afraid I have
to ask for some patience here. Let`s move to some other
stuff.
Block Quote bond shop?!
Falathi: From what I`ve read so far, there are technical issues that
delay the introduction of this feature. It is unfortunate, but
then, when we introduce it we want to make sure everything is
working well.
Block Quote Dual-gun tanks at last? Sounds awesome! Several multi-turret tanks already in the game (M3 Lee!) could be really interesting with this.
Falathi: So, the dual guns... what we`re doing now is mainly for
testing purposes to see how they would perform, how they should be
balanced, what should be special about them and so on. However,
successful testing could open the doors to stuff like use of two or
more guns on other tanks we already have in game, perhaps a good
use of multi-turreted tanks et c.
Block Quote HE rebalancing should be a good thing if it makes it more consistent. The game definitely needs some work on ammo balancing anyway, so will be interesting to see what you come up with.
Falathi: I agree - and there is a reason why HE shells should be
rebalanced along with the rest of the ammunition. I can sense some
testing in the air...
Block Quote Hiding player IDs in-game is a good feature to counter the toxicity surrounding stats - although the suggested system sounds more complex than maybe necessary? But yeah, I'm sure you've thought it through
Falathi: It holds some promise and personally I think it would be cool
to see that introduced. Keep in mind though that this is my
personal opinion. That being said, I can see some potential issues
with this. Also, I`m pretty positive it`s one of the issues where
the opinion of players is pretty divided.
Block Quote As someone else already asked above, is there any news yet on the 6th Sense update? That's something else that would be really good to see soon.
Falathi: No update now. However, there are some plans which are not
limited to 6th sense only. We have to see and wait... for
now.
Block Quote [...] Better start thinking about Tier XI and XII tanks and how to implement them.
Falathi: No plans to tier XI and XII tanks, not to mention that
introducing them would mean turning much of the game upside
down.
Block Quote randomly cramming in new content without developing the core game further ... way to go - why put any emphasis on the tanks in a tank game when you can try to run after short-lived kiddie-trends?
Falathi: I see one issue here: how exactly would you like to develop
further the core game? The core is already there, and besides some
maps and perhaps few game elements there isn`t really that much
that can be realistically added without either reworking the whole
game into something completely different ( and untested ) or
running into gimmicks and strange stuff. Adding some small stuff
like Steel Hunter, Hallowen, mini games et c offers a nice break of
the routine, without breaking the core
Block Quote I am however disappointed in the lack of any real substance to your announcement. You have a game which potentially is timeless. It could be played in 20 years time and if I'm still alive then and it still has a solid player base I may still be playing it. May.
Falathi: Dear General, I understand the concern but here, regardless
of all the stuff mentioned above there is one more thing: we do not
like to promise something or give a very detailed outline when the
matter discussed is not set in stone yet. It is a very easy thing
indeed to promise something. Making sure that it is introduced as
promised, in a timely manner and without causing any unforeseen
issues is a different matter entirely. And keep in mind that
game development is one of these branches where not that much can
be set in stone early on. This is not exactly like the construction
industry Oh, BTW:
Block Quote Realistic gameplay? Are u sure? Realistic would be 1 penetrating shot and tank down. U dont enjoy this game for realistic gameplay. U enjoy it because it is fun and there is variety in this game. U have more than 500 tanks, more than 40 maps, more than 100 000 players playing every day.
Falathi: To be completely honest, a truly realistic game would be
boring and much different from what most people expect. The element
of arcade/tactical shooter is a necessity. Truly realistic game,
for one, would involve infantry, artillery barrages, good chance of
running into mine fields or struggling when the tanks just breaks
down on its way. I`ve seen some pretty realistic games like that,
but they weren`t very popular I`m afraid
