and now we're between 1600-2000 and when we have many teams our
system adds more time between battles to prevent crashing of the
tournament system. We can limit 3v3 cups to 500 teams and we would
finish it very quickly but then a lot more people would be
unhappy. Regarding "fun cup" and supposed to be a fun
cup - our tournaments were usually 2 weeks or 1 week, then we cut
them to a day for all tournaments, now occasionally we have
tournaments where just a few rounds are on the 2nd day and again
it's not fun? 
Trust me, it's better to have them
on another day than to force people to play until 2am. Unless we
receive a huge amount of complaints where everyone wants to have
all games on the same evening, I dont see a reason to change.
