MM is about as fair as it has been, top dog my fair share, middle, some, bottom some (I actually do best when I'm in the bottom third!!)
Encounter and Assault are OFF.  I understand strategy./concepts to these game modes, but 99% of the others in the match dont.. Nuff Said.

Yoott: yeah dunno then... I have gotten my W/l from 46% a year ago to where im now 100 games + in my w/l  and averaging around 52 - 53% w/l overall for 60 days + so I cant help I seem to be going the other way then you.....

Yoott: dunno.... maybe some of the game balances, tank releases have not fit your style as much........
almost all the maps have changed, terrain and gameplay wise...... are you using encounter and assault at all?
different MM where now you fight more within your tiering... maybe before you had decent MM draws and ended top tier more then now?..
I dunno just some other ideas but you may want to check for incision scars from the lobotomy.....

Link on message: #3622037

Captain_Judo: The World of Tanks Classic is a long season. Before we kick-off Season 2, we want to make sure the season is set up for success! So we're listing some of our internal talking points which we grabbed from Season 1's threads. If you were around for our first World of Tanks Classic, you may even recognize one of your suggestions below  :Smile_Default:
Large rosters to account for the day (weekend) rounds are playedWe plan to continue with the roster max that was established by the end of the first season. This means that each team will be allowed 20 player rosters. League awards for MVP, top scorer, top defense, etc..This is a great idea and we’ve been keen on introducing something similar in the past. It would require either a metric that can be easily tracked or some kind of poll to elect an “MVP”. Roster mobility / adding and removing players mid-seasonWe like the idea of a short period (break) where rosters can be replenished. Seeding the group stageWe’ll employ our current rating system to seed the group stage. The playoffs will be seeded based on group stage performance. NO Shows + lack of gamesWe have several ideas floating around to maximize participation. Some of these were snatched out of community threads during Season 1:Break the group stage into two parts. An initial group stage composed of smaller groups where half the teams are eliminated while the other half advance into larger groups (of 10) for the familiar Classic 1 season format.
Dock teams for no-shows. This would require active feedback from our community by providing a screenshot of a technical victory. Accumulating so many no-shows will ultimately result in disqualification.
Incentivize participation.
Allow teams to register mid-seasonWe don’t like the idea of allowing completely new teams to enter mid-season. But we favor allowing teams to recruit new players midseason. If helpful, we can institute a public registration board to help teams locate new players interested in participating mid-season. Timely news & announcements updatesThe World of Tanks Classic, Season 1, was our first attempt. We have much of the processes streamlined this time around and believe we can make scheduling and announcements more efficient. Clear progression system to playoffsBuilding on the statement above, we can make the progression to playoffs more clear this time around. Nagatron & Relics vidsI think we can all agree that everyone would want to see these return! Reduce downtime between battlesThis feedback lead to a standard 2 minutes between battles. As with other tournaments, we’ll continue to use this for Season 2. Prizing to include more teamsNoted and up for internal discussion. Of course, any arguments that you can provide, I’m more than happy to share with the powers that ultimately decide prizing!
Please help us by expanding on any of the above thoughts or introducing new points to discuss. Time is running out, so post away  :Smile_honoring:

Fulcrum Gaming are certainly starting the year off on the right foot. Back to back challenge winners and winners of two out of the last three skirmishes! They're sitting comfortably atop our eSports rankings with 1,315 points. These guys are hungry to win. If you catch them in a pub on the opposing team.. just run  :Smile_trollface-3:2nd place - WAR - River of Blood
3rd place - Just Testing
4th place - Netwarriors For next month, we want to theme the challenge around the battle of Kasserine Pass. But we expect to launch some major events and colossal announcements before then!  :Smile_blinky:

View PostEpicnoob1234, on Jan 30 2013 - 00:55, said: Yes it its. Report system has an option called " Pushing allies"

dance210: No, actually it's not. From the Officially Friendly Fire thread

Quote Abuse of Physics.
With the upcoming update (8.0) and the introduction of Physics, it will then be possible for players to find new and creative ways of killing allies that will not initially be covered by the auto system.
The rules will shortly be adjusted to cover this game adjustment. But in short, unfairly pushing allied tanks around will be against the game rules.
Since this new issue will not be covered by the auto system, players will be required to submit reports (containing replays for verification) of these rule violations to support.worldoftanks.com
For example, pushing allied tanks off cliffs or bridges or out of cover and into enemy fire.
Killing an allied tank or causing an allied tank to be killed by exploiting the new physics system, will result in 24 hour game bans being placed for the first offense.

dance210: Believe me, if you have a replay, submit the support ticket. They do take all such reports seriously and WILL ban for 24 hr for the first offense. It needs to be described as abuse of physics, unfair play, something like that. NOT team damage/team kill, because those ARE covered automatically.

dance210: Que flush. If tank(s) have been sitting in que for too long, it will eventually put them into a match. That's why occasionally you will see matches with less than 15 per side and/or more than 5 arty per side. Awhile ago, GeneralDirection suggested sending a support ticket with the screenshot, so I'm guessing you can still try doing that.

dance210: Just as an FYI, they already do that. Major_Rampage goes through all the captions and selects the finalists. He then makes a new thread so that we the players can vote for the winners.
People can upvote the ones the like on the submission thread, but it has no bearing on who is selected as a finalist.

lord_farquad: If you read my next post, it answers your question for you.
For those concerned about the semi-finals and finals being during the super-bowl please keep these in mind:
1. There are only so many days in the weekend (I am all for 4 day weekends if anyone wants to start a petition)
2. Only 4 teams will even be playing on Sunday, chances are, that's not you
3. Depending on the number of participating teams the entire event could end on Saturday
4. As there are only two teams in the final, we can obviously work with them to make sure the time works for both teams, we can always make it later (but again chances are this doesn't concern you)
I'd recommend being more concerned about making it to the Sunday rounds  :Smile-hiding:
