GeneralDirection: I'd rather tier 1 tanks. In fact that's one of the tournament
formats I've planned out for clan tournaments.

Vehicle: M2 Light Tank
Experience received: 3,272 (x2 for the first victory each day)
Credits received: 15,436
Battle Achievements: Sharpshooter, Top Gun, Invader, Master Gunner
I like this tank, maybe I should level the crew up and see if I can do better.

GeneralDirection: No, it's not possible to enable Fog of War for tournament battles
at this time. Once it is, I am definitely considering enabling it
for certain tournaments.

GeneralDirection: As I mentioned in the news article, you do realize if a sub-clan's
team wins the tournament, a rep from that sub-clan must attend the
event, right?

GeneralDirection: I'm not sure why you won't take part in it. The rep for the winning
team must come from the clan the team is representing.
So if the team is representing a sub-clan, the rep has to come from that sub-clan.

Gaea:
Seeing the tier levels have been changed (low, mid, and high) the premium "high tier" tanks are limited to the KV-5, the Lowe, and the Type 59. for this reason, the high tiers will always be rotating between these 3.

I wonder if it'd be easier if we did something like the Euro server? Everything seems to be on there, even though not everything is detailed.
Not sure if you all have specific dates set aside for specials or not though. If not, I can only imagine the uproar that would occur when plans are changed.
Just a thought to save you the trouble of clarifying in triplicate next time around!

Common WG, do us all a solid and bring these events back.

Gaea: It took us all a while to choose these maps, with all the
submissions we had, and seeing that we did a very thorough job of
reading through each of them and giving them all equal attention,
narrowing down to these last 6 maps was quite the decision.

(Ex. 6 x Tier 10 Heavies, 2 x Tier 8 Arty, and 2 x Tier 6 Lights = 10 players, 90 points) I know there have been rules regarding this in previous events, but I did not see anything here.

GeneralDirection: We will not be able to have a tournament at different times for
this particular tournament, but we will look into it for the
future. Because of how time-sensitive this tournament is, the
schedule will be rather demanding -- not only for the teams but
also the person managing the tournament. They will have to work a
lot of overtime to properly schedule the rounds each day.
Unfortunately we don't have someone trained to use the tournament
tool to cover all time zones right now.

GeneralDirection: Nothing is preventing that. I purposely put "Up to" in the rules
because any number of players are allowed to join the battle, up to
15. If you want to try to win with 9 tier 10s, you're more than
welcome to. On the flip side, if you want to try to win with 15
tier 6s, you're also welcome to try!

companies I decided to go with that format for this tournament.

Must you be a clan to compete or can you form a team especially for the event?

What is the maximum number of tanks in this battle? Am I correct in understanding that a team is between 12 to 15 tankers. I was hoping to verify that 12 was the minimum in the battle and that 15 was the maximum.

GeneralDirection: Each team has to represent a clan, but those teams can have up to
four members that are not a member of the clan the team is
representing.

GeneralDirection: The age minimum of 21 applies to whoever would be flying to the Bay
Area. They must be 21, as they will be attending events that will
require that age for entry into the event.
RedWolfz0r, on Jan 31 2012 - 11:23, said: What about clans that have multiple chapters (reserves etc)?
GeneralDirection: Clans with multiple chapters can have multiple teams compete; one
per World of Tanks clan. I should stress this, because when I say
World of Tanks clan, I literally mean a clan that exists in the
game, not on the internet.
So, it's one clan per "chapter" in your example.

GeneralDirection: I will bring this up, but to answer your question it was limited
due to Visa concerns. The countries listed do not require a Visa
for entry into the United States so long as the person meets the
listed requirements.
