... and to those of you that are all for locking in the hopes it will remove stagnation from the UC map: you are delusional. It would only affect the LZs and the area immediatley around them (not being able to land or "take back" the LZs have alreadly done that).
I have 3 end tier tanks. If they get destroyed I am done in UC (let's be realistic about the functionality of non-end tier) for several days. At that point, I am done with the game. I have played for a year. I only still play because of UC. Take my ability to play UC in the tank I want and I leave... I am sure that I wouldn't be the only one.

GeneralDirection: I'm sorry you feel that way, but we are not going to announce something on the portal until we have had a chance to speak with the design team about it--that would cause even more confusion than was already present. We posted in an official thread in an appropriate forum mentioning that we were looking into the issue.

Is World of Tanks not supposed to be a competitive game? Why are mid tier tanks mixed with top tier tanks in matchmaking? Name me a few mid tier tanks that thrive and contribute greatly in higher tier matches. This is extremely frustrating to a lot of us and i think it is also a big percentage of your problem with your small subscriber base.

GeneralDirection: The question wasn't "What do you think about a T1 Heavy facing off against an IS-8?" The answer to that is: the T1 Heavy has no chance of going toe-to-toe and should instead hang back behind the higher tier tanks and provide supporting fire or look to pick off the lower tier tanks in the battle / protect the back line against scouts breaking through and spotting artillery.
Regarding the actual question, to expand on it, an AMX 13 90 does not need a reduction in matchmaking, whereas you might be able to argue that certain tier 7 vehicles do. Thus, not all tanks should be treated equally in a tier. Even within a type of vehicle some may not need a reduction in matchmaking while others do.

ARGO: Tier 8s is it now....Last week was T-59s, Last month it was French tanks, Last year it was Arty / Lowes, and the year before in beta....it was Leopards.
Call it flavor of the month or whats the fashonable tank of the masses, Heck I collect premiums myself but I would be far less worried about the premium tanks and more worried about what tank they are all trying to grind to.....Without practice, learning tiers and earning and skills it can only mean another ineffective tank on the field and that to me is far more scary.
BTW, I see them as good tanks, not great tanks or God tanks.

I have yet to see any gold spammers in this game

Tanitha: I'll take that as a compliment, so thanks.
But we average about 600 gold spam posts a week, and then on top of that there are alt accounts, normal spammers, and other similar issues.
This certainly enables us to keep on top of things more effectively.

GeneralDirection: It's not a full clone of the JT. I can't really comment on the E75, since there's always a chance that more vehicles will be introduced in the future beyond what we've announced. It's an online game after all, and we have no plans of slowing development support for it for the foreseeable future.
Buying back tanks, probably not. We're considering changing tanks so that they cannot be sold if they are given out as gifts, through preorders, etc.

TKing is not fun for anyone, and leads to frustration and all that negative stuff. Add on to that the complication of trying to properly compensate victims while not making it profitable for griefers only further adds to my point of removing team damage. Also, if it's unfair for artillery to not worry about team damage, you could make it so any shells that hit a friendly and explode or bounce, will not damage an enemy. Or go even further and make it so any shells exploding within some specified radius around a friendly, will not damage an enemy.

GeneralDirection: We will not be removing team damage from random battles. That would remove a lot of critical thinking from strategies players use if they were able to fire freely and move around freely without concern of receiving team damage for playing carelessly. That's why we've developed the TK system to discourage serial team killing.

GeneralDirection: We're constantly reviewing data on tanks played and have not seen a reduction in French tank use that warrants 'buffs'. We're pretty happy with the balance of the tanks after the changes.

First crash locked computer hard, had to do a hard reset to get out. Rolling along and the screen just went blank. still had audio but it was stuck in a loop. This one I had to do the hard reset. A 50% failure rate is not acceptable by any standards. I was used to about 1 in 15 or so chance of CTD with 7.2 (which was an improvement over 7.1) but crashing on loading is different than already being in the fight. Both times it cost me money to repair my tank with no chance to get back in the fight and earn some credits/Exp. Since the T6's got hosed for xp/credits in the 7.2 update it can take a while to earn back that silver these crashes are costing me and I'm not happy about it.

First crash locked computer hard, had to do a hard reset to get out. Rolling along and the screen just went blank. still had audio but it was stuck in a loop. This one I had to do the hard reset. Rebooted, loaded up the game, played the Pz4 all the way through, then loaded up the Su-100 and about 3 minutes in it just dropped to the desktop.

A 50% failure rate is not acceptable by any standards. I was used to about 1 in 15 or so chance of CTD with 7.2 (which was an improvement over 7.1) but crashing on loading is different than already being in the fight. Both times it cost me money to repair my tank with no chance to get back in the fight and earn some credits/Exp. Since the T6's got hosed for xp/credits in the 7.2 update it can take a while to earn back that silver these crashes are costing me and I'm not happy about it.
