GeneralDirection: It's not being 'wiped' like you might think. It'll still be advantageous to take certain territories, since it allows access to the NA region event. But yeah, at some point clans will lose their provinces in Europe.
I wouldn't let that stop you from kicking RS and -G- out of their provinces though--you've got plenty of time to earn some gold from Europe before it goes away. :Smile-playing:

This is the spot to chat about the vehicle re-balancing and changes that are taking place in 7.5.
Tier 2-3 Tank Destroyers:
Most of these changes stem from the fact that the match maker has been adjusted to give tighter tier spreads for most tanks. The tier II & III tank destroyers would be massively overpowered in these match-ups if there were no adjustments.

Changes in Tier II-II TD’s of all nationsFor all Tier II vehicles the top reverse speed will be up to 8km/h
For all Tier III vehicles the top reverse speed will be up to 12km/h Т18:Corrected suspension maneuverability on certain terrain types
Slight durability reduction
Slight reduction of all guns characteristics (aiming time, dispersion on move etc.)
Increased dispersion after firing
Slight reduction of rounds per minute for the 75 mm Howitzer M1A1 gun АТ-1:reworked maneuverability for the second suspension
lowered turning speed
slight reduction for all characteristics of all guns
slight rate of fire decrease for 2 gun – 47mm and 50mm

Below, please find some details about the changes that will be taking place in the French Tech Tree for the latest 7.5 update. (With the addition of a few new tanks, this tech tree is in need of some rearranging.)
With the addition of the ELC AMX, the АМХ 12t is going to be moved up to Tier 6. Its place at tier 5 in the Tech tree will be taken over by the ELC AMX.
Case 1. AMX 12t isn’t in the garage at the time of the update release, but is fully researched:Both tanks, ELC AMX and AMX 12t, will be researched
All undistributed experience goes from AMX 12t will be moved to the ELC AMX
Any crew member in the barracks or in a tank, who possesses the tier 5 AMX 12t skills, get the ability to be used in the tier 6 AMX 12t without any changes or losses
Tier 5 AMX 12t combat statistics will be moved to the tier 5 AMX 12t without any losses
All AMX 12t modules in the depot that don’t fit other tanks will be automatically sold at the original purchase price
All AMX 12t modules fitting other tanks will be saved in the depot, the same goes for shells of the respective guns Case 2. AMX 12t is in the garage at the time of the update release. All the rules as mentioned in Case 1 apply along with the following:
AMX 12t as tier 5 light tank is substituted with AMX 12t as tier 6 light tank
Ammunition mounted onto the AMX 12t goes to the depot
Consumables and Equipment mounted onto the tier 5 AMX 12t remain on AMX 12t at tier 6.
Players get the light french Tier 5 tank ELC AMX (without equipment, consumables, ammunition) and one slot for this tank for free
Players get a new full crew for the ELC AMX with 100% training
Camouflage mounted onto the Tier 5 AMX 12t is moved to tier 6 AMX 12t and to ELC AMX as well
The expiration date of the camo on both vehicles stays the same as it was for the AMX 12t at the moment when the substitution takes place. Other French Tech Tree Changes:
AMX 13 75 is going to be moved up to Tier 7
АМХ 13 90 is going to be moved up to Tier 8
Lorraine 40t is going to be moved up to Tier 9:There will be no additional compensation
Modules will be changed to equivalent new ones
Maybach HL 230P45 Engine and Gun 90mm DCA 45 mounted onto the tank go to the depot. The tank will have only stock modules and ammunition for the stock gun
Shells for Gun 90mm DCA 45 go to the depot Bat Chatillon 25t is going to be moved up to Tier 10:There will be no additional compensation.
Stock modules will be changed to equivalent new ones (both in the Tech tree and mounted onto the tank). There is nothing being moved to the depot
All stock modules in depot that don’t fit other tanks are sold at original purchase price and credits go to player’s account
Suspensions in depot are sold at original purchase price and credits go to player’s account
Gun 105mm CN 105 57 will be mounted onto the tank only if the Gun 100 mm SA 47 was researched and mounted onto the tank
If There was a Gun 90 mm DCA 45 mounted onto the tank the shells for it go to the depot and the gun will be replaced with the Gun 90mm F3 Discuss!!

With the arrival of 7.5 come several changes to the in-game economy. These changes started with the 0.7.2 update and will be continued in the current Public Test.First of all, some of the Tier 2-4 vehicles will get an increase to their profitability. The speed of leveling through these tiers doesn't match the new concept. Players were able to earn the amount of experience necessary to research new vehicles quite fast, but they had a problem getting enough credits, so they had to farm credits over a much longer period of time. This trouble has been resolved by increasing profitability and decreasing repair costs.Some of the US Tier 6-7 medium tanks are much better situated when compared with their counterparts from other nations. For example, the Sherman Jumbo and M4A3E8 Sherman have a very low repair cost and a fairly high profit potential. This allows them to often finish matches with a greater net gain of credits than VK 3601. We wanted to correct this imbalance. M26 Pershing players should be delighted to learn that their repair costs are being significantly reduced.The second branch of US Tier 5-8 Tank Destroyers, introduced with the v. 0.7.2 update, are more profitable than was originally intended. This is mostly due to the exceptional combat characteristics of these vehicles. This branch earns significantly more credits when compared to the original branch (ending in the T95). This imbalance will be fixed in the v. 0.7.5 update.The economic model of German vehicles of Tier 7-8 will be changed as well. Players who have Jagdpanther and VK3002 (DB) will be happy to hear that we're decreasing their repair costs. At the same time, the Tiger (P) will get the same profit potential rate as the other representatives of “Tiger” family made by Henschel. Also, we have good news for those who have a Löwe in the Garage, we're increasing the profit potential and reducing the repair costs.The M6A2E1 is also due for a credit increase and repair cost reduction.The profit potential for the Jagdtiger and Object 704 tank destroyers will be slightly lessened. They will earn slightly less credits so that their earnings are more in line with the other tier 9 tank destroyers.In addition to the Object 704 getting an adjustment, the KV-3 having been moved in the v. 0.7.3 update to Tier 7, turned out to have too high of a repair cost; this will be decreased. Profitability for the IS-3 is a bit higher compared to the other tier 8 heavies. We'll be adjusting the profit potential for this tank with the v 0.7.5 update as well. Thoughts?

It is not that the Test Launcher does not update. It is that the WoT copy folder does not wants to recognize the Main Launcher > test launcher installation.

Tanitha: It depends, a EU version was put up for 10 mins incorrectly, if you grabbed that one before it was replaced with the US updater, that could be the issue there.

Please be patient while waiting for the public test 7.5 V2 to update and become fully on-line.
Unlike the retail server this isn't usually a clean swap over on the test servers, there is usually a period of time where is is 1/2 on-line but still updating.
When its fully updated it will be available for downloading/updating the client, and logging in.

Its not a smooth changeover / update process like it is on the retail server. There is usually a period where its 1/2 up but not really finished updating, where it spits out weird errors.
Just give it time to finish updating.

They(devs) may prefer to communicate in Russian, but as the NA community team which is not being let in on most of the in-game developments, there is very little player to community team feedback about content development. I am not saying that it's the NA community Teams fault, but when you go to the RU forums you can see Devs responding to queries placed by the player base about up-coming developments in exact specifications.

GeneralDirection: I'm not sure where you're getting that from. The matchmaker changes are specifically being made because of NA community feedback. Outside of that, I have personally taken over the Q&A thread and the only real thing I can't answer is something programming related, because that frankly is not good for me to tackle; I have no programming experience.
What I do have is information on the production plan for the next year+. Obviously I can't tell you what's in version 8.6 right now, but having that information I can easily communicate what is coming in the near term and also answer some of the "why?" questions before they might be obvious or available for testing.

Tanitha: Keep in mind that the staff have super-test access and accounts, public test play time which doesn't count on their retail account, event accounts, and personal accounts often used outside of work hours.

That wouldn't be very fair, would it?

GeneralDirection: As of right now, we will not be running the Atlantis event when the NA region is released on this cluster. We're designing something a little different, and a little more... historically accurate. (As accurate as you can get when talking about tanks crossing the Atlantic to land on North American soil :Smile-tongue: ).
Also worth noting: RU is only getting the eastern seaboard and a little into the midwest. The NA cluster will have the entire North American region, as well as a little bit of Central America to start.

The World of Tanks development team is now giving you the opportunity to participate in the second 7.5 mass test. The new update will be released in the near future. At this time, we would like to ask for your feedback during the testing process.
For now, the special World of Tanks 7.5 update will only be available on our test servers. Players will be able to download the test version as soon as the installation maintenance is over on Thursday, July 19th at 05:00 PDT (12:00 UTC). Please note that only those players who registered prior to July 9th 2012 before 17:00 PDT (00:00pm UTC, the following day) are eligible to login to the test server.
In order to make your game experience more efficient we need to limit the number of players that are able to log in to the test server. As a result you could be placed on the waiting list when the server reachs 26.000 players logged in.
Please note that the cluster you will choose will be subject to a restart schedule as follows:Every other day from 23:00 PDT (06:00 UTC, the following day) and lasts for about 25 min To participate in the test you need to follow the steps below:
1. Make a copy of your game client and save it in a SEPARATE and SAFE location from your 'normal' game directory.
2. Download the Version 7.5 patch installation file (666kB).
3. Run the patch on the new copy of your game client. DO NOT run it on your 'normal' game client!
4. Run the new copy of the game. The launcher will download the additional data (352 MB).
IMPORTANT! Only run the patch on a copy of your game client! Running it on your normal play client will prevent you from playing the game normally!
Only players who registered prior to July 10th 2012 can access the public test server.
Please note, the public test server has some special features:Payments are not accepted on the public test server.
Credit and experience rates for public test server are multiplied by 10. All players are given 15,000 Gold for testing purposes.
Progress will not be transferred to the main server. Important: We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the test server is subject to the same EULA and general rules of the World of Tanks game server. This means that the restrictions and punishments are the same as on the official game server of World of Tanks. The details of the v.7.5 public test can be discussed in a special forum but if you want to report any bugs, please make sure they go to this forum so that they can be fixed.
List of changes between first and second iterations of public test:
Fixed incorrect experience transfer from Ferdinand to Jagdtiger
Fixed a bug which made it impossible to enter a battle on some accounts with AMX 13 75 and AMX 13 90
Added a research path from Tiger P to Ferdinand (150 000 exp.)
Added a research path from AMX 12t to Lorraine 155 50 (140 000 exp.)
E-100 front turret armour increased by 10mm (to 250mm)
Maus front turret armour increased by 20mm (to 240mm)
Reduced penetration value of HEAT shells of the T-62A gun from 380mm to 350mm
Reduced penetration value of HEAT shells of the top T-54 gun from 360mm to 350mm
Reduced penetration for some of the new tier 10 TDs and MTs.
Fixed some balancing errors for T18 and T82
Based on Public Test statistical results, we have finalised characteristics for the following:
Tier 10 TDs: Object 268, JagdPz Е-100, T110E3, T110E4, AMX 50 Foch 155.
French tanks : ELC AMX, AMX 12t, AMX 13 75, AMX 13 90, Lorraine 40t.
Vehicles with D5Т-85BМ gun installed: КV-13, SU-100, SU-85.Finalised balance weighting of all new vehicles that were added in the 7.5 update.
Fixed an error which meant that damage wasn’t correctly applied to a vehicle when its tracks were hit (and removed) by a HE shot.
Added some improvements to the KV-5’s characteristics.
Rebalanced income, repair cost and ammo prices for all new vehicles added in the 7.5 update.
Set tank locking time on global map for all new vehicles added in the 7.5 update.
Fixed some errors in new maps Seaport, Highway and Serene Coast.
Fixed same names of replay files for different maps.
Reduced the camouflage price for Dicker Max
Fixed visible turret armour thickness for T34
Fixed overrated visibility distance for T1 Cunningham
Fixed name of the T-43 second turret
Fixed the JagdPz E-100 camouflage position
Fixed rendering of hit trace marks on the Т-62А turret
Fixed incorrect model visualization of Object 268 from some distances

After analysing statistical results, we have made some changes:
Rebalanced (mainly nerfed) some parameters of the French TD's and SPG's added in version 7.4.

Regarding the 50B, we'll be reviewing its performance data with the changes being made in 7.5. If it needs buffs, you can expect them to come.

GeneralDirection: That statement isn't 100% accurate anymore, as not all SPGs are being moved up two tiers. We'll announce details on what SPGs are moving up when we get closer to this actually happening, but it won't be for a while. Certainly not this year.

GeneralDirection: This choice was not made "due to complainers" -- it was made after reviewing data based on gameplay habits, tiers players have unlocked, common choke points in getting players to the next tiers, etc., as well as our own gameplay experiences. The sweet spot, we felt, was a 3-tier spread. It offers more than enough variety in the team compositions, while also ensuring the tanks at the bottom of the list are still competitive. This has proven true on the public test server so far, so we're happy with the changes that have been made.
