GeneralDirection: Or, it could be that the change just happened in 7.5, and we
haven't released another update yet.
There are no platoon or tank type restrictions in the matchmaker right now. As we said all along, the 7.5 changes were the first step in a larger overhaul of the matchmaker.

explain it all, which is why i only wanted to do it once, tomorrow
: )
Ive already done a ~18 hour shift so, it wouldn't make much sense if i wrote it now anyway lol.

Theres no point me spending the time to do a informative reply when I'd already put some announcements on my todo list earlier today.
It would just be a double up, I hope you understand..
So keep an eye out for them soon, if your interested

Tanitha: As eagle said above, I see some similar issues with something like
that.
And as you said teamwork in pubs is poor. The frustration would come from expecting it though.
If you head into a pub match to do your own thing, have fun, and expect little from your team. You don't get frustrated, IMO anyway.
And yes, if you go into a pub, and start telling the other 14 tanks on your team what to do like you are their clan leader, then id expect a lot of comments back.
At least with a platoon you should be able to rely on 2 others.
or there is company battles.

Tanitha: I didn't bench it, or it would have been closed if I did. It was a
suggestion.
But it could easily have been closed, since releasing unreleased content into the forums is a fairly large rule violation.
I don't however see a point in closing it or anything else though, since I expect the official information will be released shortly anyway.

Tanitha: You would be better waiting for official released information
rather than opening up a huge discussion on vague leaks.
From the information I have that list is way incomplete.
The full and correct information on what tank alterations will take place on 8.0 probably wont even be finalized until its public test is almost completed.
And the initial tank alterations for the Public test, is not ready to be released until that itself is finalized.
All in all, I suggest this topic be benched for a little longer, until you have some real information to discuss.
Regards
Tan.

GeneralDirection: A few weeks worth of data for a combined ~600,000 concurrent
players is a pretty significant sampling, even if only a percentage
of those concurrents own the new vehicles.
For the vehicles that existed prior to 7.5--especially the AMX 50B--we've already had an idea of what was needed, but wanted to see how the new stuff in 7.5 changed things up.

That would be a very reasonable earned reward.

In general Assault is not very fun the way they have been implemented on the maps that they have. I'm not saying I don't want Assault becuase I do, but most of the time, I would rather drive my tank into the open and die without playing so I can move on. It really is that unfun so to speak. If it wasn't that bad I'd say give it time, but when a map/mode makes you NOT want to play the game, thats as bad as it gets. I would be interested in WG's ideas for improving Assault (ie more maps, taking some out, changing others).
On a related note, is there any intention of giving us a choice of mode?

GeneralDirection: Interesting. The win % for the T14 is a little higher--actually
close to where it should be (when factoring in 2% draws)--for North
America. The Churchill is doing just fine with its current
matchmaking. We'll take a look before 8.0 and make a decision, I'm
sure.

working on them, is not always within our power. The Big World
acquisition makes things a little easier, so hopefully we can get
some kind of support in for 8.0.

My request is that the people who have spent the most money, or level of spending. Let’s say, since release to present I have spent approximately $1000.00 (US). Is there a way we can be rewarded for our loyalty?
Example, $1000.00 a year permits player to choose a Highest Tier tank of their choosing fully trained.
That would be a very reasonable earned reward.
Please, if this was contemplated, making it retroactive would be great.
Just an idea.
Thanks
GeneralDirection: I doubt we would do something like the idea you've suggested,
because it could mean selecting the top tier of a brand new tech
tree / branch, which completely bypasses game
progression--something premiums don't allow. They help you reach
your end goal, but it doesn't completely remove that sense of
accomplishment that you feel when moving through a branch in a tech
tree.

GeneralDirection: Interestingly enough Malinovka is one of the more balanced in terms
of win rates. But yes, Prokhorokva is a little out of whack right
now.
In 8.0 you'll be able to select whether or not you want to play a mode. The match will still be chosen at random, but it will only look for modes you want to play.

You'd need a fairly modern cargo plane to even transport it, and

GeneralDirection: For gameplay balance, primarily. If it were a standard vehicle, we
would probably include an engine upgrade in the tech tree to reach
its historical top speed. But premium vehicles aren't balanced to
match a fully upgraded vehicle of that tier.
Otto_matic_Reiffel, on Aug 13 2012 - 13:28, said: Has Wargaming ever directly nerfed a premium tank's in game specs once it has been released?

GeneralDirection: No, we have not made any direct nerfs to premiums outside of what
has been mentioned in update notes. As I've mentioned in other
threads, this is a case of the player base better learning how to
deal with the vehicles over time. When something is new, no one
knows the best way to take it down, but over time you learn the
strategies to do so. The Type 59 and Lowe are far less of a mystery
now than when originally introduced.

GeneralDirection: Anything is possible regarding higher tier premium SPGs, but
probably not until the branches go up to tier 10. A tier 8 premium
would allow you to skip all progression in the game if released
now, and that's not the intent of premium vehicles.

GeneralDirection: We think Assault mode is fine for the most part. As SerB mentioned
(though it may have been taken the wrong way), the game mode is
very different from playing Standard battle. It's going to take
some time for players to formulate solid strategies for attacking
and defending. There are some problem maps, but overall we're happy

THe drivers vision blocks have nothing to do with weapons systems. And it would really be nice if you would fix this. I have sent in screen shots of this problem. But it seems if I dpont make a video no one at WoT can figure out what I a talking about.
If anyone else has encountered thos problem, Sound OFF. Its a really iritataing geek to take a no damage hit on the hull and lose your range finder!

GeneralDirection: A new turret with extra armor plates is being added to replace the
Schmalturm. 7.5 L48 will be balanced similarly to the 57mm ZiS4,
though with slightly higher alpha and slightly slower rate of fire
(approximately equal DPM), and at least equal accuracy. There's a
pretty good chance the 7.5 L70 will no longer be accessible.

GeneralDirection: The Churchill is not performing so well that it screams "nerf me."

GeneralDirection: This has been something consistent for a long while now, not a new
problem. We're discussing ideas to address it.

GeneralDirection: Visibility has a lot of factors. Just because you're "in range" of
something it doesn't mean you'll actually detect it. If it's at an
angle where your crew can't see it through view ports, then you may
not detect it. If its camouflage rating is high enough, you may not
immediately detect it.

GeneralDirection: Dragon Ridge is based on China, so we probably won't add it to the
global map until that region of the world is ready. It'll be coming
back at some point in the next few updates.
