Tanitha: Yeah it is prohibited, but its at a level where in most cases a warning is issued and the topic steered back onto tanks.
Continuance will result in sanctions.

Tanitha: Its not really reportable, its a minor offense.
So when a sensitive discussion starts up (like politics / religion / etc etc) the GM's will try to steer the conversation to something else, ,Like,,, Tanks : )
With it being a minor offense, which usually comes with a warning and steering from the GM's, this cant be done when a report is received to support.
And the situation usually isn't sufficient for any sanctions to be placed.

Tanitha: Hello  iceofaus
Constructive criticism is fine. None constructive is not.
Calling your first thread "Your game blows." isn't a good way to contribute to the games forums.
If you wish to partake in the forums, please settle in by posting into existing threads in the correct sections, and being aware of the forum rules.
It will help avoid misunderstandings about what is acceptable and what isn't.

We'll probably continue it for September since that month was planned already by the time we had started getting feedback on this, but for October it's still up for discussion.

GeneralDirection: You took it out of context by not showing what the post was directed at. It's easy to read that as "we ignore feedback when changing things" by not including the quoted text. The fact of the matter is that "complainers" (as the community refers to them) rarely influence change. Constructive feedback is what impacts change. Things like Steeltrap's numerous posts on the subject, and other players who voiced their concerns without breaking it down to the simplest "matchmaker sucks".
If a post actually spells out why something is not fun, that is when we use that feedback to influence change. But just saying X or Y sucks will not contribute qualitatively to a change. And the latter is what you all generally describe as a "complainer".

View Posttiajaunatoad, on Aug 27 2012 - 18:35, said: When scouting, if you spot enemy tanks do you have to mark them somehow for arty or is it enough to just spot them?

lord_farquad: Just to add a bit here as a lot of new players are not aware of this nugget.... if an ally does damage to an enemy you're spotting you get 50% of the xp & credits from the damage, in addition to the spotting xp & credits (this 50% is copied to you, not taken from the player doing the damage). This makes providing targets to your team an excellent way to make XP.
As an example... during my highest xp game (2,940 xp in my 2801) I never fired a shot, just spotted for my allies.

How can people all around the world be combating on an equal footing when there isn't an Oceanic server? How can all regions be the same when there isn't an Oceanic server?

Why on EU server he isn't even mentioned? There are KV's too. Don't be ignorant and read some history.

Aslo EU office is totally separate in naming of their specials. They decided that it's a name, which describes the event better, since it does not contain all KV tanks.

They could easily name that event somehow else, but hey it's US server nobody will care about it. And you sir you are an ignorant with thinking about it that way.

Vallter: All SS members were ideological members of Nazi party and supporters of their ideas. You could not enter SS, if you were not part of the system, which killed thousands of people. Moreover SS and all it's members were condemned by International court. This court also looks after the use of SS symbolics, names of their members etc. After receiving a note from this respected Insitute (I mean court, and not SS order-) ) with a request to rename the medal we had in-game, we've done so.
On other way KV serie of vehicles were not condemned by international court, Moreover, I doubt that tanks can even be judged. Like with all weapons, only owner is responsible for what he does with it. So I do not understand your negative feedback on Soviet machinery.
All in all, our game is about tanks and not personalities. And in our game we have specials about tanks, and not historical figures.
For all posters I would also remind that they should be understanding and respectful to each other. We are all a part of a gaming community and we should speak like equal players.

Gaea: The KV-4 is not included. This isn't a mistake ;) Tier VIII+ vehicles will rarely be on sale.

lord_farquad: That's a question for WCG, remember this is not our tournament, we're just promoting it to make sure you were all aware of it.
