lord_farquad: 640 is the max, we don't expect to reach that number.
I would also like to mention that this event will not take the place of the upcoming Ultimate Conquest: Absolute Power Tournament.

lord_farquad: and I quote.....
"If a draw occurs at the quarter-final stage or later, the judges reserve the right to hold a tiebreaker between the two teams"
if you draw again... I will make sure the tiebreaker is "un-drawable"
Also please note that the eSports team does not run or design the Clan Wars events, thus we apologize in advance for our inability to constructively comment on those.

Well deserved skirmish victory for Team Plaid, a team representing five different clans who dominated Skirmish 4, sweeping all opponents until the final round:
Team Plaid 3:2 WAR - River of Blood
They've even gone ahead and provided us with a play by play shoutcast of their final rounds. The semifinals begin around the 7:00 mark and finals at around 22:00. It's a fun watch and highly recommended viewing!

Ultimately it was not G/Forge/Legion that decided to "wipe" the map, that was WGs decision. We were only asked if we thought that would be a fair solution.

Yoott: I have seen what Baroom is talking about with this and its total
and utter stupidity..... people are making accounts on other sites
and places like you tube and posting pretending to be the
leadership of these clans and threatening violence to family
members and everything..... extremely childish and needs to stop.
The clans on the map played the game given to them... did they use
diplo, to help push themselves along SURE... buts thats 90% of
CW and any real CW leader in here cant argue that diplo
is so big. At the same time all of them had to fight through the LZ
to win and they did beating some pretty big teams in the process
that were no pushovers I can guarantee..
The big clans did nothing wrong to earn where they are... they were prepared, they were ready, they trained, they worked hard, they battled hard and have great teams and dont deserve the childish negativity they are getting... on top of which read below

Yoott: They have agreed to the proposal put out by WG to wipe the map and
forgo millions of free gold between them in order to make this
event right. Did they have to .. no... is everyone thrilled about
it..no how can you expect them to be.. however they could be on
these forums being just as loud, vocal and negative about it as
many people are being towards them and they are not. At the end of
the day will they hold land again really quickly ... sure there are
not many scenarios where that does not happen barring a meteor
hitting earth or something... but at least give them the props they
deserve for standing up and saying sure lets have a redo for the
best interest of the game and CW. And stop with the bashing of
them.....
