Yoott: It did a bit for my clan..... we played tier 3 , made it to semi
finals on the landing VPG shut us down.. ok but we
played.. we battled we won some... had a great
time I just cant see why all the anger about
it. We played good battles, got to see and learn strats
from better clans, found some huge areas of improvement for us to
work on. At least from my clans end that was a success.
we took some of those ideas and put them into the Skirmish this week and made it 3 rounds in....
again all in all the event short as it was can be a success.... I don't think we were going to knock down big clans, or become some secret hidden superstar clan....
we played, we had fun, we cant wait to do it again.
and P.S. its only a few days really and even if every smaller clan or less experienced clan gets stomped they still get a chance to play..... lets do it battle royale with everyone.... better teams should prevail no doubt but why stop the process because of that?

dance210: Those are the limits for Tier, not number you can bring into
battle. So if you wanted, you could bring all light tanks as long
as they were each Tier 3 or below.

But could you maybe share some insights on the new format for the coming season? I know the community has lots of great ideas, which might help to launch the new format in a way that everyone can feel happy about. Look for example at the input that was given to the new Clan Wars system. I hope the players could be given a chance to give input on this new format as well before the launch?

Captain_Judo: The problem with sharing information, in this case, is that it's
beyond the scope of just our eSports department. This time around,
our hands are tied and we must wait for the powers to be to give us

looks like you are offering tie breakers and playoffs..
this will not work. people will take adantage and just go for draws.
if a team cannot win the battle in the time permitted, they don't win.
thats what rules are for.
don't let players rewrite rules to fit their play.
this is not clan wars where you get a draw you hold your land.
make the teams earn victory by winning, not camping 10 minutes.

lord_farquad: This is virtually the same format as the Veteran's day event.
I think you misunderstand the point of "tie-breakers." These are to break ties in score, not in a single game. The group stage is based on 9 matches, each one gives you a score, as mentioned in the tournament rules (3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss). Tiebreakers apply to ties in the score of a single group.
