Here's mine: Be ashamed to die until you achieve
greatness for your team. Yeah, I put my tank between the
perma-tracked guy and the enemy. Yeah, I pushed him behind
cover, taking his damage. YEAH - he prob doesn't deserve it, but
maybe he does! Maybe he is a great guy who will have an epic moment
of teamwork!!! BTW we won. We both survived till the end.
Tank well friends, tank well.

CabbageMechanic: I think in general this attitude makes the game more fun for
everyone. I have played multiplayer games fairly seriously
for longer than I care to admit now, and the most fun I've had is
always when people work together and treat each other
decently. Admittedly, both of those can be hard to
find.
My personal ethos for tanks is simple - be patient. I come from a more fast-paced genre background and have a particularly aggressive style even there, so WoT is an exercise in constant discipline for me. The more I constantly remind myself to take it slow and consider my options at every point of the game, the more this happens:
Still not good, but a lot better than I was!
