"I have been going through my notes and photographs. The side armor in the
photograph is about 2.5" (63mm). The armor behind the track suspension is
also 63mm (lower part of the hull). Total side armor (including the outer
track assembly) would be 118 mm (if you include the angle of the armor it
would be 139 mm). Total lower side armor would be 163mm (not including the
roadwheels and suspension that would be in the way of incoming projectiles)
