In other words, what we see on the client is random and usually not identical to what has happened on the server. This would also explain some of the ghost shell problematic that has been intriguing players for a long time.
What you can see when you run a replay several times is that a shot is never going to the same location twice. So a shot that you see as hitting the target may have been a miss on the server or the other way around.
Can you confirm this or is this issue limited to replays?

Overlord: Shots are performed client-side and all of them initially go to the center of the reticle while the data go to the server, being process there and go back. Then the necessary adjustments are made to the trajectory. Usually if the ping is low (no lags) and there was no harsh turret traverse (ie server side reticle ~ client reticle) the adjustments are insignificant. However in some cases it looks like self-guided rocket.
